AI Camera for Forklifts Singapore
AI camera for forklifts detects people in blind spots, alerts the driver, and logs every journey. WhatsApp us your site details and we will tell you what fits.
A forklift driver reversing a loaded truck cannot see a person standing behind a rack end. Neither can the person see the truck coming. That gap — not bad driving, just a blind spot — is where most forklift-and-pedestrian collisions start.
The AI camera system puts multiple cameras on the truck and uses onboard AI processing to spot people in real time, even in the areas the driver's seat was never designed to see. When it detects someone in the danger zone, it warns the driver with sound and light. Some setups can also step in on speed — that part is optional, not standard, so ask us what your truck needs before assuming it's included.
Every trip the truck makes is logged. If something does go wrong, you have a record — who was driving, what the camera saw, when it happened — instead of trying to reconstruct an accident from memory a week later. That same log is also a supervision tool day to day: it shows whether drivers are actually following the routes and speeds you've set, not just whether they say they are.
Where this sits against the law
Singapore does require fixed CCTV covering forklift work zones on construction sites with a contract value of S$5 million or more — that has been the rule since 1 June 2024 under MOM's Video Surveillance System regulation. But the law asks for camera coverage of the zone, not AI people-detection specifically. MOM's own FAQ says AI analytics is encouraged, not mandatory. We won't tell you AI is required by law, because it isn't — a plain fixed camera satisfies the regulation on its own.
Where AI does matter is the grant. MOM has confirmed that the Productivity Solutions Grant supports pre-scoped VSS packages that include AI — and specifically does not currently fund a plain VSS system without it. If you're speccing CCTV for a $5m-plus site anyway, an AI camera can be the version that's actually eligible for support. Ask us and we'll help you check whether a given job qualifies — we haven't confirmed our own supply line is on any pre-approved list, so that's a question we answer per job, not a blanket promise.
Outside construction, there's no legal trigger — this is a warehouse and yard safety tool you choose because the risk is real, not because a regulator asked for it.
Not stated in the manufacturer material we hold, and not on this page: exact number of cameras, camera resolution, alert decibel level, or which forklift brands it fits. We confirm fit against your specific trucks when we quote.

Common Questions
Is an AI camera required by law on forklifts in Singapore?
No. Singapore requires fixed CCTV covering forklift work zones on construction sites with a contract value of S$5 million or more, under MOM's Video Surveillance System regulation in force since 1 June 2024. The law asks for camera coverage of the zone, not AI people-detection specifically. MOM's own FAQ describes AI analytics as encouraged rather than mandatory, so a plain fixed camera satisfies the regulation on its own.
Can I use the Productivity Solutions Grant to pay for a forklift AI camera in Singapore?
MOM has confirmed that the Productivity Solutions Grant supports pre-scoped Video Surveillance System packages that include AI, and does not currently fund a plain VSS system without it. So on a site that needs CCTV anyway, the AI version can be the one eligible for support. M&C Industrial Solution will help check whether a specific job qualifies before you commit to anything.
What is the difference between an AI camera and normal CCTV on a forklift?
CCTV records footage you review after something has happened. An AI camera watches the area around the truck and warns the operator at the moment it detects a person. One is evidence after the fact, the other is a warning during it.
Who fits AI cameras on forklifts in Singapore?
M&C Industrial Solution fits forklift AI cameras and other safety equipment across Singapore, on trucks the customer already owns as well as on rental fleet, working from our yard at 7 Gul Circle.
